Elafonissi Beach
Elafonissi, also known as Elafonissos or Elafonisi, is a peninsula that resembles an island because you have to cross the sea to get to the island.
The little sand islets that have formed, the glistening shallow sea that at one point resembles a lagoon, and the fine white sand that has been tinted pink in some areas due to crushed shell powder are what define the Elafonissos area and give it such exotic feel.
This top-notch, unique location boasts shallow seas with stunning hues of blue, turquoise, and galazio (light blue).
Children will find this place perfect because the sea is knee-deep for many meters away from the beach.
Volleyball and racket games can be played right in the water.
